Hi there,

I would like, if you want, to add my suggestion for your very good audio software.

Here is a screenshot from Raduga. I would like to find this functionnality in your software.

The software goes on the next music, when it remains "x" seconds, specified after the ~ in the filename. I don't know if it's possible to develop this. It's for the great mix at the end of the music. The fade is not a problem, because it's include in Direct Sound 2.5

If I can contact privately the developpers of Foobar, I will enjoy saying why I would like really to add this.

Thank you very much smile.gif
Thomas.

Are you searching for foo_dsp_continuator?

Eventually if you need an additional functionality, ask there...

Ah, I understand what you mean. Yes, I think its a good idea, but I'd prefer the continuator to make its reaction by a tag, not the filename...

But continuator can continue depending on the volume level it detects at the track end... Maybe you need this...

Oh no, I prefer to find it in Foobar, not in a dll.
If it's not possible to do this, I will ask to crossfading.

For the tag, it's in the filename, not in the WAV tag, sorry.

Explaination : I will use Foobar in a webradio. The time of starting crossfading (overlap in raduga) is specified after the ~ in my wav files.
Example : jingle~0.2.wav (will start fade at 0.2 seconds before the end of the jingle)
music~10.wav (will start fade at 10 seconds before the end of the music)

I really need it like this (with it in the file) because of the quality of the fade: it gives a very good fade!

???

core = core
core != bloat
rest = module

As long as the components model easy and effective as in foobar I cannot see a problem here?

He's saying that he's afraid of (at least 3rd party) plugins, because they make your foobar crash, but if the exactly same piece of code was put into foobar core, it wouldn't crash.
