We have a requirement to add silence to FLAC files in an ASP/IIS5 environment using scripting. Our source files are WAV (or FLAC) and we wish to create a FLAC file with a particular amount of silence added to the start or end (the amount of silence is only known at run time).

We have tried using the scripting DLL of dbPowerAmp but so far we haven't been able to make it work since it times out when used as an ASP component.

If anyone can advise on ways to accomplish this we would be most grateful.
