no time for further investigation. I use fb2k 0.83 and the latest continuator DSP. I listened to lame 0.97a10 mp3s at --preset-extreme. It appears, that

- a track finishes and fades out.
- new track (its in a new album + different folder) begins
- after some seconds, the same tracks starts again, as an overlay.
- again some seconds, and it starts again.

So I had maybe 3 or 4 Layers of the same track with some lag.

Funny thing, that was. As it was a beethoven symphony I first thought "what a strange interpretation that is!"

Before I try to hunt it down: Has someone else experienced this???

I could solve this yesterday by deactivating "Force track length to be...."! Might it have to do something with foo_temple?

by the way. This doesn't only happen with mp3 files. The format seems to not matter. I always listen to *.ogg!

Yes, thanks. This solves the problem. I did not need that option anyway. BTW foo_temple is loaded as a module, but I wasn't currently using it.

Here the same. foo_temple wasn't used either. But it is possibly the reason?! I link this thread to the coninuator thread, so that cpt.footure can have a look...
