I bought a CD of the GREASE sountrack for my niece. I own the LP and have already ripped it but, I thought that ripping from the CD would have produced a better quality files but.... I discovered I can't see the audio files on the CD and so I can't add them into a foobar playlist.

Does anybody knows any way to do it, please?

Thanks.

To be clear (even if somebody would laugh at hearing it...) I regularly bought both the LP, the CD.... and the computer!

You can see the songs if you hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard while closing the CD tray, but a solution to your problem is to use Exact Audio Copy as your mp3 ripper.

If I hold down the shift key, I can see the content of the cd but not the audio tracks.

After some thinking I tried the Play audio CD in FB and, magically, I could see all the tracks in the playlist.
Then I did my usual freedbing, then converting then replaygaining.
The only thing was that the last track showed an incorrect lenght (5 mins instead of 3) and both the playback and the ripping didn't finish, not eve the 3 mins.

I haven't listen to all the tracks for now so I can't speak about quality or else.
