Why mp3 (WinXP) are displayed with windows media player icon and not with foobar icon? Anyway they are opened with foobar... :

Have you tried to run fooassoc.exe (it's in your foobar2000 folder)? Just check all formats that you want to be opened by foobar and appropriate icons should appear in Explorer.

You can force new track on stream error (for example when the source is incomplete) with this plugin:
foo_preview (also look here).

Thank you. i have put the file in /components, they appear in preferences/components but the error show always and the mp3 don't play.

You have to check this option: Playback -> Force next track on stream error.

I'm not sure, but this option may be required to be turned OFF: Preferences -> Core -> Stop playing on file open errors.

So you'll have to create it by yourself

Core -> Main menu items -> RMB-click on [group] Playback, then choose Insert item -> Command... and finally, choose from the list: Playback/Force next track at stream error.

I think that's because this plugin only skips to the next track when the stream error occurs - normally foobar would just stop playback (even whith Stop playback on file open errors turned off). So, if the stream error occurs at the very beginning of the file - it immediately jumps to next track. You are not able to play file with 'holes' in its data.

If you want to preview partially downloaded files (movies, music, etc.), try VLC media player.

and what is the function of plugin if not preview mp3?

The 'Preview' function of this plugin is not for previewing partially downloaded files. It just plays (for example) 20 first seconds of each track on your playlist.

Uhm, ok. And you don't know a plugin what can me play mp3 now in downloading with foo?with all other players is ok,sure don't exist an option?

This feature have been asked for before and denied, use search to find the relevant posts. The main point being that foobar2000 offers sample accurate seeking. This demands complete files.
