Full Version: CRAZY FROG!
How annoying is that stupid Crazy frog. Does anyone agree that he is just there for money and that stupid nessie dragon, dont get me started.
I quitted watching MTV and music channels because they only show 5% video-clips and 95% ring-tone or other cell phone related commercials. Anyways, it is very annoying.
Its not just on music channels now. Its on normal channels too! I've seen them on ITV and BBC and everything. They annoy me so much. Must kill crazy frog...

Yes, that's how it works. First they piss you off with those characters, then they release a phone game where you can frag 'em in large numbers. I bet it'll be a hit.
I was confronted with that frog on allmusic.com, WITH music. This was during a crazy moment when I allowed adverts to be viewed.

yeah, in Germany it started with just a few little adds at the breaks. then suddenly it became much more as it must sell very good. now the breaks do consist only of ring tones etc adds.no sane person would want the newest trendy but useless super ring tone or one of these cuuuuute background images that bores you to death after a few days. but watching any music channel just makes it hard to remain sane nowadays because of the adds, so there we go...
anyway, today you will have the pleasure to view the adds not only at break time but during most videos too. almost half the screen is captured by 'get this ring tone now!' stuff. I don't see a point for watching music videos if you can only see the upper half of the picture and are always distracted by the low one.
and remember when only a few biggest hits from the charts where available as ring tones? now melodies and songs are actually created to only serve this purpose.
this business has become much more aggressive and wider spread for sure.
but along as customers buy the goods and as long as MTV, VIVA et all don't lose too much clients they will continue to show this kind of stuff.
