foobar has it own playlist. I can create different playlists e.g. by artist like in my screenshot shown below

Therfore what is the usage of the playlist tree plugin ? In my understanding, just another plugin to create playlist shown in tree style instead of foobar playlist tabbed style
kl33per
Well firstly, you probably didn't need to start a new thread to ask this.

Secondly, you have an enormous number of playlists. I have one. What is shown on that playlist is determined by what level of the playlist tree I have selected. See my config here.

are the content of playlist is shown dynamic by the level of the playlist tree selected ?
kl33per
Yep, that's exactly right.
adrianmak
is it possible to create a playlist in the tree showing the top say 20 songs which recently played ?
kl33per
using foo_playcount, yes.

Hey kl33per, would it be possible to get your .col file? I think I am trying to do what you did for the dynamic lists, but can't get it to work.

And what are those two arrow buttons next to the play contols in your screen shot?

Prev and Next in History (with drop down lists to go further). They come with foo_history.

I never noticed that one in the Toolbars....can't believe I didn't see it before. Thanks upNorth!

kl33per, would you mind telling me how you set up your playlist tree?

Awesome....thanks!

kl33per, how can I get the boxes with the + and - for expanding/contracting the lists to show up? I have a black background, and I don't see anything. When I switch to a lighter background, all I see is are the plus/minus signs....not like the box in yours.

Edit: Added question to kl33per.

I don't have any idea what your problem is. Is your database enabled?

Yeah, my database is enabled. Here's a screenshot of what I am talking about. It is happening in both the Album List and Playlist Tree panels.
kl33per
I'm assuming you can't expand Database/Dynamic.
kockroach
I have the buttons activated in Playlist tree. I can expand any of the fields, it's just that it isn't displaying like I have seen in everyother screenshot.

Expanded Database/Dynamic view

Edit: Added screenshot

kl33per, how do you have it, so that whatever group you have selected in your playlist tree, is put into the playlist?
kl33per
I think I've figured it out.

Foobar2000 -> Preferences -> Playlist Tree -> Library -> Send Library To Playlist
AND
Library Playlist [Playlist Tree]

Both of these option have to be set up.

You may have to refresh the tree too by right clicking on the 'All' node and selecting refresh.

You can have it save the results by selecting:
Foobar2000 -> Preferences -> Playlist Tree -> Queries -> Save Query Results

@ Royle, that's exactly how it's setup
haydns
Thanks for your col file kl33per! Everything is working except for the "top 50 Last Played" query. My track info panel displays last played and my History Panel displays properly. Any idea why?

Ok got it sorted out by using new version of play-count.

Get rid of the horrible visual style and try again. I suspect that your VS is buggy.

Thanks for your unsolicited opinion on my choice of visual style. I don't know if you are talking about just what you see in the screen captures in this thread, or if you have seen my full screen capture that is in the Gallery, but I am not planning on changing it.

Edit: And those boxes are related to the Windows style, not to any setting in fb2k. Sucks that they won't show up with the Windowblinds style I use. Oh well. Thanks Canar for pushing me in the right direction.
