Full Version: plugging low end mp3 players into speakers

So i was tired of listening to music through my less than comfortabel earbuds all day and decided to plug them into some computer speakers. however, the sound was not loud enough so i had to crank up the volume on the mp3 player. At a certain point, the mp3 player froze as did the music. I took out the battery and put it back in, but now the LCD(or anything for that matter) does not turn on anymore.

I tried as much as replacing the battery and hitting random buttons, but it is of no avail.

However, plugging it into the computer results in the detection of a SAA7750 Solid State Audio Player. It had a UMS firmware on it when it died.

I installed iMM, however it is not detecting a player, but windows still detects some audio player(although it says it cant find a driver). is there anything i can do?

edit: i found this:

edit: i found the drivers but it says it has no information about my device sad.gif

maybe a firware update?

i can't do a firmware update because iMM doesn't detect it, and the LCD doesn't turn on, and windows doesn't let me access it as a HD, or even apply the driver.
