1) I'm going to renew my jukebox PC moving from an Athlon 1000 to an Athlon 64
3000. I'm also going to change the system HD where my current FB is installed upon.
My music is on another HD that I won't touch.

Will it be enough to just save the FB dir somewhere on my LAN and then copy it on the new HD?
Are there any component that would require some sort of installation?
I started with FB on last December and then it's been a continuos adding and experimenting components so, now I can't remember if I had to install something.

2) I'm setting up a notebook with some of the music I have on my main jukebox as, having my parents-in-law at 100km I often spend week ends or just saturdays to their house in Bellagio.
Of course, I can't use lossless wavpack also on the notebook so I ripped them lossy 196kb.
Now, as my file tagging is ever improving with more accurate info, I'd like to keep the converted ones up to date. Is there a way to do an incremental backup with the converting involved? Even inside FB?

1) You should be fine just copying /foobar2000/
foosion
If you have user profiles enabled, you need to make a backup of %APPDATA%/foobar2000/ in addition to %PROGRAMFILES%/foobar2000%/ (or wherever it is installed). You can enter both of these addresses in the address bar of Windows Explorer; it will substitute the correct values for the %PROGRAMFILES% and %APPDATA% environment variables.
