Hi,

How does one change the the out put for the constuction of saved file names. EAC always starts with track # and Track name. I always have to change it as I prefer Artists - Album - Track #- Track Name.

I think it has to do with the .cfg file but I have never edited one so am not sure.

I opened the .cfg file in notebad but it is confusing as it looks like a bunch of jumbled letters and such.

Thanks,

Woody

Go to the menu -> EAC -> EAC Options -> Filename
And please do a google search or forum search before posting. There're tons of information about configuring EAC on the web.

I did that. But each time I restart EAC it is back to its original settings. As I mentioned I think it has to do with the .CFG Profile file but I have found nothing on search about editing one.

Thanks,

Woody

Yikes! Stop double posting!

No you don't need to edit the CFG file by hand, no one does. Check if you have the permission to create files on the computer you're using. If so, EAC would save your config when you quit the program.

I now understand. I appreciate your help.
