so I'm asking:
which Lame-version was the first in supporting gapless-playback (the possibility in combination with foobar/winamp)?

I think it was LAME 3.90 but I could be wrong.

I think (can mistake) that the gapless using lametag to precise the "offset delay" has apapered with Lame v3.95...
Previously there was the switch --nogap but this method is far less ergonomic i think...

feel free to correct me if i'm wrong... smile.gif

Couldn't have been 3.95 since whenever i use LAME 3.90.3 it shows enc_delay and enc_padding tags in foobar2000 and plays back gaplessly. And this is without using --nogap.

Okay so i've mistaken... wink.gif

It was 3.90.2

My files encoded by a previous version of LAME (I still have some around) don't play back gaplessly
