Recently I have tranferred from Winamp to FB2K, It rocks!
I have two questions:
1. In Winamp, When I had it on Randon track play, I would press "B" and it would skip to the next randon track (or whatever track depending on what mode I had it on) How do I make FB2K do this?, also pressing "Next" in Winamp would skip to the next random track, while in FB2K it skips to the next track in the playlist and not the next "random" track. How do I make FB2K do this?
2. What is the Columns UI and how do I activate it?

1) you have to klick on random to jump to the next random track, but winamp has a shuffle function, not random, so I recommend you using the foo_shuffle plugin

2) it is an alternative UI using columns (as the name says ), look around here in the sticky threads and you'll find it easily

You can bind a keyboard shortcut to "Next or Random" so that it works as "Next" in default order mode and "Random" in random order mode. (I don't remember the precise name, but it's there.)

Howdy,
I have assigned the letter "b" to Foobar except when I press "B" in any application foobar steals it and thinks I want to "Random" so stupid!!!How do you stop it doing that? The focus is not on Foobar so why does it do that?
Also, I can't find the info on the Columns UI anyone point me in the right direction?

Fixed, I had made it a "Global Shortcut" by accident
foo_shuffle does not want to work. It sayd it needs some DLL to run!

if you placed the "foo_shuffle.dll" file in foobar2000/compnents, it should work fine

the plugin that one of the posters posted worked fine for me
