.cda can only appear on an audio CD. So, to get .cda from .aac files, you would just burn to an audio CD (not a data CD) using the the .aac files as the source.

EDIT: Changed acc --> aac, I thought something looked strange there smile.gif

And you mean .aac, don't you.

Well, it's only to decode to wav and burn to CD. You don't give much info, but I guess your on Windows platform, in which case you can reduce it to a very simple one-step-operation with Burrrn.

Right I spoke to the other chap and whathe wants to do is save music to cds so he can play them in any cd player but he wants to get as many on there as possable.
he said he's tried itunes and creative and has had no luck. as for weather it was acc or something else I'm not sure. I'll peaster him and annoy and break his thumbs un till he talks, sheash! he's the one who wanted to know you'd think he'd be quicker to respond when I txt him.

iTunes will do it. So will Nero. Nero is probably your better bet.

Just get a CD burner, stick in a blank, fire up Nero, tell it you're creating an Audio CD, and drag the M4A or AAC files into Nero. It'll convert them and and let you burn the Audio CD automagically.

However, when you say "get as many on there as possable" understand that you're limited to 74-80 minutes of material (depending on the blank CD). Audio CD's, which can play in any audio CD player, can only hold that much audio.
