you could try asking on the creative forums. You may find help faster there.

I am very anti-creative and opinionated towards them so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I have read their forums lately, about the last 2 weeks, and to me it seems that the moderators try to influence people to buy new hardware (of course they reccommend creative stuff). So don't just take advice from their site if someone reccommends you buy a new soundcard.

There are a lot of people who understand the creative cards very well on creative forums, and I think you will find very good answers.

good luck

It should come with a "Quick-Start" guide that has diagrams for all kinds of different speaker systems, including digital. If you don't have it, you can go to www.soundblaster.com and download it. There is also documentation on the install disk(s).

Thanks for the advice. i already have a quick start guide that you mention and install the speaker. the problem is if i use digita output only option, the sound just come from the rear speaker. in analog mode the sound just fine.

Ok I have the ada-885, but they're nearly the same, but I'd check to see by pressing the mode button on your right speaker is set to Dolby Digital, also setup your soundcard for digital output only thru the SPDIF and set it for Dolby Digital 5.1 as your front left and right speakers simulate a centre channel, which you can alter by pressing and holding the Bass button for 2-3secs, also the holding the treble button will let you set the Surround setting.

I'm not sure about your soundcard but on my soundstorm drivers i can have digital and analogue at the same time but i find it alot easier just to leave it on digital out only.

Hope this helps you a little, if you need anymore help PM me, as my friend also has a ada-885 and he knows alot about them too.
