I want to:

1. Rip to some lossless format and have the "tag info" automatically inserted from freedb.

2. Edit that lossless file in Adobe Audition 1.5

3. Convert the lossless file to an MP3 using LAME and have the mp3 file retain the original "tag info".


I'm unable to find a format/audition-plugin that will allow me to edit/save in Audition 1.5 while preserving the tag info.

I'm not going to keep the lossless version so it can be wav, flac, wv, whatever. I'll use whatever ripper gets the job done, but I prefer EAC.

Could someone please advise on the easiest way to accomplish this?

(Sorry if this is a FAQ. I really searched/tried and have come up empty)
