I usually rip CDs on several PCs, either at home or my uni.
I'm using EAC and of course, I'm placing album info either by taking it from CDDB or entering it manually.

Anyway, I think EAC's album info database is CDDB.DAT, right?
Since I rip at different places w/ different Audio CDs, is there any way to merge the databases from each copy of EAC on those PCs?
Partially coz I hate to fix mistyped info from CDDB every time I use a different PC and to retype a certain obscure album info not available on CDDB.

And always having a copy of CDDB.DAT from time to time on a USB flash disk is something I want to avoid; I tend to forget which one's the more complete over another.

So...any suggestions?

With EAC running go to the Database tab, should be 2nd from the bottom (depending on version) you will see 'Import Database'.

And there you have it...

To note: Depending on the size of your CDDB.dat it might seem like EAC has crashed.
For some reason it takes quite a bit of time even on a fast machine. Fear not its working.

Will this import feature merge things up or replace the old one completely?
