I'm using the Explorer Tree Panel (foo_uie_explorer) to play my files directly from within Explorer, which works pretty well.

There's one thing though I can't seem to figure out: is it possible to toggle between the tree view and the playlist with some kind of keyboard shortcut? When the focus is on the tree, I can "tab" to the playlist, but there's no way to "tab" back (normally Shift+Tab would do this) to the treeview. Or am I just missing something here?

Probably, the explorer tree window doesn't have the WS_TABSTOP style, hence you can't tab to it (but from it). Best to ask the panel author about that.

Yep, I think you're right, I might contact the panel author. In the meantime, I've made a small script with AutoIt which enables me to "activate" the explorer tree window with a hotkey, but it's not as fancy as it could be of course.
