ok, so what i wanna do is to use the graphical file selector of certain gui application (i would use total commander, but somehow i dont know where to get started or what to read) to run a certain bat file (or set of bat files) -

so i get processing on a file by file basis order - and that would also simplify the bat coding.

any ideas for such gui, preferably opensource (something like 'anydrop' cool.gif ?)
or how to do it with total commander?

tia.

I don't get it. Can you give an example?

example would be: an icon sitting on desktop - drop some files on it - those files are processed with certain bat file (or series of bat files), dump processed files in FIFO order into the same dir as input one.

(and inside of that bat file i should have the ability to NOT hardcode any of the input/output file paths.)
