No matter what I can't do, I can't rename this file...

The_Chariot-(2004)-Everything_is_Alive,_Everything_is_Breathing,_Nothing_is_Dead,_Nothing_is_Bleeding\02-the_chariot-some_day_in_the_event_that_mankind_actually_figures_out_what_it_is_that_this_world_revolves_around.mp3

Is this because of the length?

Edit, the full title is actually...

Some Day In The Event That Mankind Actually Figures Out What It Is That This World Revolves Around, People Will Be Shocked and Perplexed to Find Out it was Not Them. Sometimes This Includes Me

o.O

So thats not even the full track.

edit: I truncated it to "Some Day In The Event That Mankind Actually Figures Out What It Is That This World Revolves Around, People..." and it seems to work.

Where's the origin of this filename length problem...I was under the impression that XP was unlimited sad.gif

Windows XP still supports the old API functions which are limited to 260 characters for the complete path, and this is what foobar2000 uses. It additionally supports a newer API that allows paths up to 32767 characters.
