I'm searching for a handy automation way. These days I rip and encode with eac, wapet+lame, start the files in Foobar and do the replaygaining there.

I'd like this to be done in batch with eac.

1. question: can the batch process (ripping+encoding+replaygaining) somehow be done with eac + tools (mareo? react?) If so, maybe someone might help with the command lines.

2. So obviously I need a command line replaygain scanner. I didn't find one. I know mp3gain does replaygain calculation. I did not find a way to make mp3gain only store replaygain headers and not doing mp3gain....

somehow i have a memory about a lame compile with RG build in, but thats on another machine - but it must be the latest version.

I know the latest Lame 3.97 alpha includes RG support, but only on track mode, not album.. So I'm guessing you'll not want it.

You can try Jebus's LameGain

Is there a solution for lossless?
