Hi,

I'm using MP3Gain v1.2.5 from sourceforge with AACGain v1.3 from rarewares. I have renamed the aacgain.exe file to mp3gain.exe

But, unfortunately, I'm getting this error in most of the .m4a files that I created with Nero:

QUOTE
ERROR 6 in RadioSingleFile (MP3Gain) : Overflow

When I try to use the tool from the command line, I get these errors:

I'd really like to use this tool. Is there any solution to this problem?

Many thanks.
Best regards.

Hi again,

I've noticed something curious: foobar2000 v0.9 beta 6 also chokes on exactly the same files as AACGain.

However, all of the files are played back perfectly by iTunes, so I assume they aren't corrupt.

foobar2000 0.9b6 gives this error:
QUOTE
Playback Error: Error opening file for decoding (Unsupported format or corrupted file):
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Documents\Music\nin\01 - Mr Self Destruct.m4a

Cheers.

Hi people,

I have re-encoded the songs with Nero 6.6.0.16 and now the problem has disappeared!

So, it seems it was a bug in the older Nero version I had.

Everything is correct now. I'm happy.

Cheers.
