Hello poeple,
First post on here!
I'm using EAC with lame 3.96.1 with --alt-preset standard which is fine for me but,
when I load the files into itunes or winamp I'm getting the wrong time remaining when the mp3's playing? It's out by 2-10 seconds?

Cheers,
chri5

I have noticed this issue for some time as well, but can't seem to find any info on it or a way to fix it. I found a program called VBR Fix, but tested it on a few mp3's and it didn't solve the problem. If anyone knows anything about this, please enlighten us.

Thanks,
Tony

I'm pretty sure it is written by default... or am I wrong?

I'm not sure at all. I believe the switch for lame is -T, anyways.

The Xing header is always written by default. The LAME tag is just an extension of the existing Xing header. It can be disabled though, forget what the command is.
