I'll try to keep my rambling down to a minimum as everybody's time is important biggrin.gif

Basically, I'm doing a low bit rate, mp3 encode for the few users of a site I'm developing who still use modems.

For simplicity, the mp3s are played through a flash widget, however this is where my problem lays.

I'm happy with the mw-us preset (both output quality and encoding speed wise), but flash (or at least my product) only supports mp3s with 11.025kHz, 22.05kHz or 44.1kHz (other sample rates playing a double speed), and mw-us with 3.96.1 outputs 24kHz tracks..

So I'd really appreciate the elongated settings mw-us points to so I can change the (re)sample rate (I couldn't find them online or in the sourcecode when I searched) or anyone's other recommendations for settings which output 22.05kHz, modem friendly tracks.

I've done my best to find an anwer to this question with MP3-tech/Hydrogenaudio/mp3dev/Google searches and come up with nothing, hope this post doesn't tread on any other post's toes.

As a note I've been lurching on and off here for a couple of years and am a big fan of all of your work, I've learnt so much but theres still far too much to go laugh.gif

Thank you so much!

I was hoping for a slightly more hardcore looking answer - I'm not sure how I missed that call rolleyes.gif

Thanks again - with the realisation I have more control than I knew I can manipulate your awesome presets *just* enough to fit within the anoying double confine of flash and dial up bandwidth.

I'll keep an eye out for any other newbie questions I might be able to help with in the future biggrin.gif
