Hi to all
i'm looking for a good mp3 (and not only ) software player
able to refresh (to add new entry and remove deleted files) in backround my music collection

i don't like microsoft media player

Not yet. I wouldn't be suprised if something like this will be implemented in the next months (either officially, or by a 3rd-party-developer)

Why don't you try Winamp? For me it's the best player. Although I have tried foobar, I turned back to Winamp.

It has an option which allows you to scan the files at the startup of the program, so even if you add/delete files it will add/remove them from the library. Thumbs up for the very good library.

I would also suggest Winamp. Version 5 is far superior to their other versions! For some odd reason, they decided to add a browser to winamp. Unfortunately, it's caused some security issues. They keep fixing them, but they keep popping up. I'd suggest that when installing it, choose "No Internet Connection" (or something like that).

I use Quinntesential Media Player (available from here. The newest beta, has a music library and is generally a very stable and good player.
