Just downloaded Foobar2000 this week. It's still pretty new to me and it has more whistles and bells than any other audio program I've experienced.
My question is about the database function. I enable it in the preferances, set up the directory my music is at (D:\Music), click "scan" and ....... nothing happens. A box pops up for a second, and that's it. I go to the album list component, and nothing is listed.
The way I have it set up is..... D:\ Music..... then sub-folders for each artist, then sub-folders for albums, and the tracts in each album's respective sub-folder.
I have about half a dozen albums worth of tracts ripped with EAC.
What am I doing wrong?

I has happened to be too. Restarting Foobar doesn't work. Restarting the computer works.

Try removing the quotation marks (in case there are any) around your file path in the database preferences.

Thanks again.
