I thought this kinda topic would be a cool idea, Do you guys use a different icon for fb2k other than the default? Different Icons can include the one you see on the Desktop or System Tray.

I use the cd.ico file included with foobar2000 as my system tray icon, because it's round and I like that :-P. I don't have a desktop icon because fb2k starts with Windows and stays on all the time.

Just wondering (and sorry to slightly hijack) but is it possible to change the foobar icons viewed within Windows explorer?

Edit: funnily enough, soon after that thread my daughter, now almost three, did notice foobar in the taskbar - and immediately became fascinated by it.

I was listening to John Mayall at the time, which is still in my car stereo. She associates the two, and always asks for "Mask please daddy" (referring to the foobar icon, but meaning John Mayall's "All Your Love"). The number of times I've heard that song now... still, better than The Tweenies.

Just throw whatever icons you want to use into the icons folder in your fb2k dir and rename them appropriately.

You're the one to blame! For about a fortnight she was obsessed with "Mask" (the icon) - I used to have to open the icon up in Microangelo to give her a proper look...

Thankfully that's stopped, but all I'm allowed to play in the car now is John bloody Mayall's "All Your Love" on repeat.
