I thought he meant Mac like
this...? And I don't think there's any Monkey's Audio GUI for OS X. (Nor do I know of any for WavPack, but then I just don't know.....)
Ahh, my mistake. There's a Wavpack binary for OS X, but no frontend GUI.
The latest versions of
xACT include limited WavPack support (lossless format only and choice of high or low compression) and have shntool's WavPack version check disabled thus negating WavPack 4's incompatibility.
EDIT: xACT has of course had APE support for quite a while now.
I actually tried xACT for wavpack ripping once and the results were atrocious. Definitely not lossless. Even posted on their yahoo forums and was told that the kinks still need to be worked out for the wavpack support.
So, for now, their still isn't a "stable" Mac frontend for the best lossless codec.
