I was wondering if Foobar2000 had the ability to do Artist/Album Panes like iTunes, wxMusik, and MusikCube?

First I selected Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, then 1999, and then Spanish Dance Troupe

I really like that behaviour, I find it's a nice way to search through music. Can foobar2000 do the same through any plugins?

No this is currently not possible. Someone would have to write a component for this.

However you can use foo_ui_columns with the album list panel and do something very similar.

The Genre/Artist/Album Panels are not nested. If I select Classical from the genres list, the other panels won't hide anything non-Classical but the playlist will. I just use the SHIFT button to create multiple instances of Album List Panel and set each to a different scheme.

How do you get the album list panels to work? I thnk i have it loaded, but i don't see anything on the main foobar window.
