I'm a newbie to foobar2000 (and relatively new to tagging) and so far I'm loving it
. I'm having a problem though and after searching the forums I can't find a definitive answer on how to fix it. It's all a little confusing.I have a dozens of MP3 files that were tagged in the ID3v2.3 format in iTunes. I like using Columns UI display so I can view album and year info in columns but for whatever reason I can't get the album, year, genre info etc to show up in the playlist.
I already have the ID3v2.3 plugin so I'm a little confused on how to fix this. Last night I ripped a track from one of my store bought CDs to MP3. That particular tag is in ID3v2.2 and I noticed that foobar will display all the info in the playlist for that track only. All the other tracks though (with v2.3 tags) won't show the full tag info. Soooo because of this, I decided to convert a few of the 2.3 tracks to 2.2 to see if that would make all the info show but that didn't work either.
I'd greatly appreciate any help with this. I'm still learning
