Hi
i ripped with eac a lot of cds , and i now use foobar and i use replay gain to make them sound with the same gain

but now i would like to listen with ipod with the same volume
what can i use?
maybe a freesoft not distructive
shadowking
You can use mp3gain. Another way is to you wavegain while encoding the mp3 - (tick replaygain in foobar diskwriter preferences).

thanks mate
i'm a novice here
mp3gain is not destructive? right?
shadowking
Only foobar replaygain scanner doesn't modify the audio. Mp3gain does but is supposed to be reversible. Foobar wavegain is non-reversible. Anyway none of them degrade quality.

The replaygain option in under diskwriter prefs in foobar. Its similar to wavegain.

@ shadowking
thanks
is there a plug in (like or similar to Replaygain) that can work with windows media player
PoisonDan
If you use MP3Gain, it will directly change the loudness of the MP3 file (but this is reversible), so it will work in all players.

nice ok thanks PoisonDan
