Can these 2 work together with XP & a agp card ?
As i want the 2496 for the sound quality to my speakers & for vinyl ripping
but i need headphones for the nightime , i know theres headphone amps but thats just more expense (especially in the UK) and i know my headphones will work direct from the 2496 (from another thread here) but thats not really practical , changing the speakers to headphones everyday & visa versa !!
So i would like the SB () for just the headphones !

I've run a 2496 together with on-board sound, for similar reasons, without any problems. I think the main issue is that they should be using different IRQs, IIRC.
