hello,

i'm currently searching for a microphone, which doesnt need to be hold all the time and which does not stand on the table so that you'd have to lean foreward, if you want to speak .. so i thought of a headset

the problem is: on the other side i still want to use my sennheiser for which i'd need something like a headset without headphones.

so my question:
Are souch devices available ? Or are there microphones, you can "fasten" another way ? Perhaps .. are there micros, which you can "clip" to your headphones ..?

thanks in advance for every answer smile.gif

There are tie clip microphones which are similar to those used in TV shows. Something like Sony ECM-CS10, ECM-C115 or ECM-CS10.

Edit: And ECM-T6 which is somewhat cheaper.

Here's what I'd suggest :

(or something of the sort..)

on a less humoristic note, most of the microphones which I've seen on a headset, needed to settle on top of your ear to stay in position, so if you have closed headphones, that won't work.

You can use any portable microphone with "necktie clip", for example Panasonic RP-VC151 (mono) or Panasonic RP-VC201 (stereo).

There are also desktop microphones, i.e. Plantronics .Audio 15 PC microphone, which will not require to lean forward to speak, it will catch sound at greater distance.
