Has anyone gotten burnatonce with proDVD to work with a BenQ 1620?
I have yet to get it to work, i believe proDVD is installed correctly.

You could always try a different freeware burning app such as CDBurnerXP Pro. I've personally never used it, therefore I can't comment on it.
I could, and I have. I have Nero, but I'm also very tied to bao and would like to get it working, if possible.
Try Easy Burning. It is a frontend for a couple of Linux tools, too.
The author offers slightly newer cdrtools as an update. You can copy some files over BAO's - maybe they will like your burner. But I can't guarantee it.
