I'm reaching my limit of patience for Audiotrak. So far however, I've not found a suitable replacement in the consumer card range. I've decided to step up the search into the prosumer/recording level. The emu cards are a no-go due to lack of ac3/dts passthrough and no multi-wdm drivers.

I found the M-audio 1010lt and 1010 cards and they seem reasonble, but I can't find anything on them. Does anyone know what DACs they use? And do they support ASIO over SPDIF natively? And would they sound better than the Prodigy 7.1 (I'd assume so, but according to the specs on the 1010lt, maybe not)?
