I downloaded the latest EAC [V0.95 beta 2 (including CDRDAO package)] and used the wiki drive configuration + Coaster Factory tutorial to configure it. I’d like to use either LAME 3.97a 11 or 3.96.1 with it.

I’m not too sure if I have to include the --preset extreme together with the -V 0 in the Addtional command line options, or just write -V 0 and nothing else, or something else.
i.e.
-V 0 --preset extreme
-V0
???

Sorry for the obvious question, I just want to make sure I’m using the correct preset before I rip all the CDs. I used the Search but couldn’t find specific information over this or what the difference between --preset and –V are.

either use -V0 or --preset extreme

they are the same

V0 is --preset extreme so use one or the other:

-V0

--preset extreme

For vbr new:

-V0 --vbr-new

--preset fast extreme
