Man, I just the Cowon Iaudio X5(also plays FLAC) and I have to said this thing is awsome. It has a ton of features and blows Ipod away. I'm not trying to hate on Ipod, because I think thier pretty cool to, but this one just leaves it in the dirt and I want to give credit where credit is due. I also just bought a laptop and I think this mp3 player is so cool it keeps my attention way more than the laptop.

You might be interested to know that Rockbox is working on a port of their firmware to that player in the same fashion that they are the iRiver H100 series that I own.

Now it is far from complete as they haven't written a bootloader yet for yours. But once they do and get a working firmware version for you you will love your player even more than now

I own a H140 with rockbox loaded and there is no other player that exists that can do what this combination can.

However once rockbox works on the x5 i would have to seriously reconsider my options, it does seem like a nice player. but by then there will probably be another awsome player out just beging for the rockbox touch.

great to see another player supporting lossless formats but nothing short of gapless+wavpack+replaygain is going to make me happy.

just when iaudio includes great faetures in its firmware, rockbox raises the bar
