Full Version: Convert 16bit pcm wav to 5.1 ac3 surround sound

i have a panasonic camera that records in 16bit pcm, i want to make a dvd with ac3 surround sound, how can i do this, can foobar2000 do this? or is there another program that can convert pcm to ac3? i have heard that you have to make six mono wav then convert them to ac3 for each channel, please can you help me out

its pretty straight forward....just browse a PCM wav and start encoding, DTS is also supported......i've heard that the ac3 encoder is not as good as those paid version....this is the only free ac3 i know , it's by ffmpeg
