Can anyone recommend a program for burning music CD's - I am looking for something that has a nice access to my music folders (something that I don't have to start over at the top after everytime I pick a song), and I would like it to be able to normalize the songs on the cd. I have easy cd creator by roxio (most current version) and a tdk 40/12/48 cdrw. I don't like the roxio program for some of the above reasons (and when using it sometimes I go through 2 or 3 cds before it actually does it correctly). All my source files are mp3s. Thanks in advance!

I'd suggest using MP3Gain on the MP3s instead of normalization during burning. I think a lot of people would suggest Feurio as being the best at making audio CDs out of MP3s. Another alternative is burnatonce which is a pretty good little piece of free burning software.

Is there any program out there that can burn directly from MPC's? If not, suggestion for any burning program authors: Winamp plugin support. smile.gif

burnatonce does, if you put mppdec in its "external" folder. It's not quite on-the-fly (decodes them to a temp folder when you're ready to start), but it's convenient since all you do add your files and it'll do the rest. I'm pretty sure you can mix-match MPCs and OGGs, and MP3s on your list and it'll do the necessary decoding and burning.

Too bad nothing simpler exists. If only Ahead would release their plugin-creation specs...

We've already been through that, though. The outlook on availability doesn't look too good. dry.gif
