Hey, I'm kinda new to EAC. Ive using Cdex where i didn't have to put any command lines so this thing is totally new to me. I've read a lot of guides so im not gonna ask what command line should i use, the only thing i wanna know is what "%s %d" stands for ? I noticed that almost all the recommended command lines have this "%s %d" at the end, but couldn't find anywhere what actually this extra thing does to the command.

Thats all, thanks!.

"Which flags can I use in the external compression scheme "User Defined MP3 Encoder"?"

%s = Source filename
%d = Destination filename

They are necessary to tell the encoder which file to encode and where to store the result.

For example: lame.exe -V 2 --vbr-new <parameters for tags here> filename.wav filename.mp3

cool, i didn't know it was neccesary to force the encoder to make that association.

thanks!

It isn't so much a matter of needing to tell the encoder... it's more like, there has to be some way for the CD ripper to communicate with the encoder.
