i'm going to be buying a dell dj soon (trying to break away for the iCulture) and was wondering if there's a plugin similar to foo_pod that works with the DJ...i just don't want to have to use the bloated MM if I don't have to...

Doesn't the Dell DJ act as USB mass storage device? In this case you won't need any transfer plugin/software at all.

Nope. You can't just drop music into the DJ and have it work. Yes, it does act as a Mass Storage device, but then so does the iPod.

If you don't want to use MM, Dell has a program on their site called DJ Explorer or something like that. You can use this to put music on the thing and make playlists and such.
