On a friend's house the water rose by a good 20cm and it got into speakers, one speaker was horizontal on the floor and water got into it. It wasn't just water, it was water and dirt, the speaker held over 20 liters.

The others got about 5 liters but the woofers remained safe, probably just fiber glass needs to be replaced.

I'm certain that water reached the woofers, fortunately tweeters are safe.

A total of 6 speakers were affected, I can't remember the brand of 4 of them, but 2 are Klipsch (these ones I think) one of which is the one that held 20 liters.

Any advice? Should the speakers be left to dry and then try to clean them?
