Full Version: Change encoder in EAC?

You guys know if there is any simple way to change the encoder ID3 tag in EAC? I used to do it in CDex to easily identify which LAME encoder I had used to quickly see if it was re-encoding time. I generally leave the ripping program info in the comments. If there isn't, perhaps you guys know of an MP3 tagger which can change it? (I was never much of a fan of taggers. Rip it right and you don't need one wink.gif). Sorry if anything I said was particularly obvious or stupid, I know a bit about audio quality, but nothing about tagging tongue.gif

If I correctly understand what you mean, your problem has been thoroughly dealt with in this thread and a solution was found.

Not exactly the greatest solution, but it'll work for now. Thanks.
