I just have these slight things that annoy me, but they arent damaging anything.

so. the first part is that the tags arent properly displayed, although they are tagged as you can see in the tagging program behind my foorbar in the picture. And the other thing is that the 2nd album displays 2003 two times. grr. me and my stupid annoyances.

1) Have you used MP3gain?

2) Thats because its a second album, with its own date field.
Cosmo
1) if the tags were added after the files were already loaded in fb2k, you might just need to refresh the database/playlist.

2) the date is displayed twice because the formatting string uses an "if" statement that displays the date on the line of track # 4 (...any track 4, not just the first one it finds...), and it looks like you have two track 4's.

Okay thanks cosmo, im and idiot, about the 2nd one. i just have so much files that i need to tag that i get sloppy sometimes.

Have you tried to use Database -> Reload info from file(s) from the context menu on the tracks whose tags are not displayed?
Bobjua
I dont see where that is, but I dont use the database anyways.
Cosmo
Playlists are also basically a database. When the files are first added to a playlist, fb2k reads (looks for) tag info from within the files, but afterwards it only reads from the stored playlist. Thus you must refresh/reload the files after tagging, to update the playlist.

Highlight the group of files, right-click on them, click "properties", click "Reload info..."

they are all tagged right. someone said something about mp3gain? well i think these songs have replay gain? could that have something to do with it?
