Full Version: Streaming AAC+ problem.
My apologies if this has been posted already. I just tried foobar2000 0.9 Beta 8 with the streams over at http://www.tuner2.com/ and discovered that fb2k does not report streams properly in the status bar, nor when right-clicking on the stream in the playlist ans selecting properties. It's making me wonder if foobar is playing these streams back properly.
What do you mean with "not properly"? Check your status bar formatting.

HE-AAC+PS are being reported as regular HE-AAC. In other words, aacPlus v2 streams get repoerted as aacPlus v1. Sorry for not being clearer.
Edit: Bitrates that are supposed to be CBR sometimes jump around as if they were ABR/VBR as well.

It's a problem with server software (PS header not sent with first frame).QUOTE

Where does it say that streams are strictly CBR?
