Strange huh? And i believe the max recording speed is 24X.

I never had problems with any of the CDs mentioned above.

I use Verbatim for several years now, I never had problems with them:

Verbatim DataLifePlus CD-R 700MB 24x Crystal Surface + Super AZO:

You can also find out some of this information with Nero:
Open the Medium Information, press shift and then F5.

In case anyone notices the big batches of PNY 100+10 spindles (they actually don't have spindles, just shrinkwrapped blocks) at BestBuy, here's what they are:
