Okay.. Got EAC and LAME set up for ripping and encoding my MP3s. Everything went very good untill now.....

Files get a strange "XXX" in front of the comment-field and it doesn't put the genre in the genre-field, but "(31)" (which is the ID for "Trance").

However, those errors are only in ID3V2. How can this be? I tried several builds of LAME 3.90.3 MMX and they now all do the same.. Is this how it should do it, or is there something wrong?

This is the beginning of the file:
CODE
ID3    TSSE
  LAME v3.90.3TIT2      Hypnotize (Radio Mix)TPE1      NuncaTALB
  HypnotizeTYER      2000COMM      XXX ..... owns!TRCK      1TCON      (31)                                                                                                                                D                                Xing     I S;

The reason I'm asking this..... I use mIRC UPP and it has a plugin for displaying the current song in WinAMP and since today it displays: Genre: (31) instead of Genre: Trance.
And it displays: Comment: XXX instead of Comment: eng (that's a bug in UPP, but it now changed to XXX instead of eng....).

I hope someone can help me... I find it a rather weird problem...

Well. It seems that mIRC UPP is the fault. Using another script (named AMIP) displays everything alright.

Still strange that it did display the genre right and it now does not...
