Full Version: foobar2000 ported on linux?

If this question sounds silly, I'm a biginner in programming so... please forgive me!
As I wanted to try alternatives to WinXp I was wondering if we could ever see a linux version of foobar2000. I know that there is wine, but I think that emulation it's not the best way. I also know that porting it on linux will raise quite many problems, but after v0.9 goes final...

Probably never going to happend.
Because Foobar2000 is closed-source and the author seems to have no interest in porting it to non-Windows operating systems.
