I'm new on this board, and moreover I'm french...So, sorry for my english ^^. For a project, I must create a program that communicate with three softs : girder, lcdhype and foobar. So I vould create a program that will be able to read the database of foobar, and could know what element is selectionned. For example, when the selection is above beattles (but i didn't add to playlist yet), how could I know this? I also would know all the tree of albumlist... And is there a command (internal or via windows messages or other) for scan database, and delete dead entries?

How could one element be selected if it hasn't yet been added to any playlist in the first place?
As for the scan/delete commands I suppose they're mentioned somewhere in the SDK.

By Using CollumsUI and Album List Panel, you may able to view your database in a tree (like normal album list), but in the main window of foobar. You can navigate in this tree and when you do it, an element of this tree is necessary selectionned.
