I have a cinergy 600 that has a radio and tv tuner integrated.
I would like to take my Radio audio from the pc where I have the card installed and stream over my local network, to listen the radio on another pc.

The sound is linked to the line-in, so it should be necessary to get this input and stream it?
Do you know some program that does this? (better if free smile.gif)

It could be interesting to make a similar approach with the tv channels. I know there are some free pc remote softwares like UltraVNC which you can use to see the remote desktop, but they don't allow overlay video through the net. Are there some that have this option?

We used Windows Media Encoder to do this at work to watch the ashes. smile.gif

Just set WME on the source PC to stream the input, then access it on the network using the IP address of the source on port 8080 (default).

I'm sure there are other, better, solutions, but it's free cheap 'n cheerful.

For the radio I expect you could just set up a local Shoutcast or Icecast server quite easily. Or, again, use WME.

Thank you.

I will try your three suggestions.

I also found out VideoLan (VLC) that should be able to show also the video TV.
Anyone tried this VLC?

Sounds useful.

VideoLan is well known.

Edit: spelling (I know, impressive with six words!)
