Full Version: How to geneate a CUE sheet from a file

Hi,

When I rip a CD I take Exact Audio Copy and let it generate a CUE sheet on the fly. But what do I do if I just got a single ripped mp3 (or wav) file: how can I generate a CUE sheet for this file knowing it came from CD xyz? Is there some smart program out there which reads the ripped file and knowing it's for CD xyz generates a matching CUE sheet?

Manual generation would be a bit laborious at least for lots of files, and a CUE sheet for CD xyz downloaded from the net won't probably fit exactly to the ripped file.

Any idea?

Best Regards

You may need to tweak it a bit though. If so use one of the tools listed here.
